downtown baltimore, 58 degrees. your weather today though looks good if you got any outdoor activities. game's not until tonight. mostly sunny, breezy. wind gusts about 20 miles an hour. just keep an eye on that. our current weather shows clear conditions pretty much over the entire state except for the mountains there and down around ocean city. those conditions are clear as the afternoon moves on because of high pressure behind this front and very cool air. you can really see the definition of the trough here as you look through the greater portions of the midwest. fargo north carolina. i keep highlighting them. 27 degrees. couple of snow flurries. snow in parts of minnesota and wisconsin. so, they're dealing with it already and it's not even october. quickly your ravens forecast looks good. 50 to 54. going to want to bring a jacket. mostly clear and crisp. don't be surprised if you see temperatures drop into the high 40s by the end of the game. your seven day looks good. those cool temperatures stay with us monda

the tape i just played from you is republican retreat in baltimore in january of 2010 len months earlier when the president said not as part of negotiation with congress, it is too soon and wrong time to raise taxes. >> in january 2010 unemployment rate is almost two full percentage points higher than now. that is a selective choice. the president never made. >> the economy is weaker now. sir. the economy is weaker. it was a 2.3 percent back then. >> chris, your clip is trying to suggest that the president's leading concern for economic growth is that we not raise taxes on high income people. it is a focus of tax cuts for people that hire, a higher tax cut rather than abolishes estate tax and cutting by billions was dollars. it didn't work in 2001 when the same people proposed it and used it. >> mr. hubbard you were part of the team in 2001. >> first of all governor romney is talking about tax reform and not large tax cuts. my question for austan following yours, why would we believe that four more years of this policy or hiring tax credits or whatever else the president has on the table

one person in the hospital after a late-night fire in southwest baltimore. firefighters responded to a home in the 1900 block of breitwert avenue around 9:00 last night and found flames shooting from first floor of a two-story home. firefighters discovered one victim suffered injury, possibly smoke inhalation. that victim was taken to the hospital. crews say it took half an hour to bring the fire under control and there's no word on what started the fire. we are back in a minut >> the sun is out now but earlier this morning, just before 6:00 a.m., the ground was shaking in carroll and frederick counties know aearthquake near oak orchard, 10 miles southwest of westminster. it was at a depth of three miles and magnitude was 2.1. not much but it did cause a shake and we got a phone call or two on it, as well. other than that, the weather's nice and quiet here, a cold front went through a couple of hours ago. by evening, it will be out to sea and high pressure will be and that gives us more great weather. just a continuation of the dry conditions we've had. toda
